Reception- Answer multi-line phone system Always greet patients in a professional and courteous manner, verifying patient demographics and insurance information is complete and accurate.
Schedule new and existing patient appointment which includes collecting all patient's demographic information and coverage, referring physician information and primary care doctors' information.
Collect co-pays, deductibles, and time of service payments from patients that are self-pay and makes certain that the patient receives a receipt.
Collect any past due amounts from the patients at the time of check in (when required).
Scanning appropriate documents into OPIE Admin- When required, fax documents to physician's and referral resources Follow-up with physician offices for supporting documents Un-pack and reconcile delivered boxes that come into the office Ship out orders to vendors Position Requirements- Part-Time position to assist our office- no more than 24hrs per week Someone with an upbeat personality and someone who understands great customer service Someone who can lift light boxes Someone with previous work in a medical office Job Type:
