30pm We are seeking a minimum of a CNA licnese in the state of Massachusetts Responsibilities Hospice Aide / CNA IPC
Responsibilities:
Follow the interdisciplinary plan of care; be alert to the patient's needs and concerns.
Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hair, nail, skin and foot care and oral hygiene.
Assist patients in turning, sitting, standing, and ambulation, according to the plan of care.
Assist with elimination, including the facilitation of bedpans, and urinals, assisting patient to the bathroom, routine Foley care, and enemas, according to the plan of care.
Assist patients with meals, when necessary.
Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapeutic services, in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care.
Observe and report changes in the patient's condition and needs to the Team Director or Registered Nurse (RN).
May perform simple homemaking chores for the patient directly, meal preparation, and/or light housekeeping in the patient's immediate area.
Complete required documentation per policy.
Participate in continuing education programs.
Follow confidentiality regarding patients and families per policy Demonstrate a compassionate attitude toward patients and families consistent with Hospice philosophy and mission.
Attend patient care conferences as requested by the Team Director.
Qualifications Hospice Aide / CNA IPC
Qualifications:
Certified by the state(s) as a nurse's aide, having completed a course and certified by the state.
Listed on the state aide registry with a clear record able to deliver care to patients in their own homes, nursing facilities, or hospitals.
Successfully complete the agency Home Health Aide Competency Exam with an 85% or better.
Meet the regulations and requirements of the State in which the program provides services.

Qualifications:
Certified by the state(s) as a nurse's aide, having completed a course and certified by the state.
Listed on the state aide registry with a clear record able to deliver care to patients in their own homes, nursing facilities, or hospitals.
