(1) Conduct classes as a full-time and full-service guide at the elementary educational level;
(2) Daily preparation of classroom environment and materials;
(3) Prepare written informational reports each semester on each child in his/her class;
(4) Confer at least once each semester with the parents of each child in his/her class;
(5) Maintain daily records of students lessons, practice and progress;
(6) Prepare short term and long term lesson planning of Montessori curriculum outcomes and goals;
(7) Attend all Thacher Parents Nights and parent education events which can include evenings and/or Saturdays;
(8) Attend one yearly overnight field trip with students;
(9) Attend a minimum of one AMI/AMS or other MACTE - approved workshop every year;
(10) Devote one week prior to the beginning week of school for classroom preparation and one week after the close of school to complete required paper work and prepare the classroom for summer closure;
(11) Interview children for enrollment in Thacher each year; and
(12) Prepare the Lower Elementary Assistant as necessary.
The Lead Guide will be required to attend one overnight field trip with students. The field trip will be to West Greenwich, Rhode Island, which is 58 miles away from the worksite. The trip will be for three days, and it will take place in April or May during the academic year.
Employer requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least two (2) academic years of work experience as a Lower Elementary Assistant, i.e, classroom assistant in elementary grades in Montessori setting. In addition, Employer requires candidate to have a Montessori Certification.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
