Thacher Montessori School (Toddler-AP in Milton, MA) is searching for an after school receptionist to begin August 31, 2015. The receptionist will work 3:45 6:15 pm Monday Friday taking phone calls, greeting and directing visitors, and assisting with general administrative tasks, throughout the school year.
We seek candidates with:
A calm and respectful demeanor with children and adults
A strong ability to communicate
Attention to detail
Bachelors degree preferred
Located within a half-mile of Boston city limits, the school enjoys a rich cultural and geographic diversity in a natural setting, lying between a 7,000-acre nature preserve and The Wakefield Estate, a 23-acre arboretum with livestock and specimen gardens, used for the adolescent program. Each of our 10 classrooms in a 1989 building designed for Montessori schooling is led by a Montessori trained guide, assisted by a second faculty member and, at the elementary and adolescent levels, specialists. The school is AMS accredited for all ages and recognized at the 0-3 and 3-6 levels by AMI. With a strong foundation built over the last 40 years, the school is poised to carry out its mission as a learning organization in new ways, with the help of our staff.
